"Arthur's Lucky Pencil" is the second half of the 2nd episode of season 2 of the animated children's series Arthur. It originally aired on September 29th, 1997.

Plot
Arthur's luck begins to change after he finds a pencil right before the stop of a rainstorm. Tomorrow Arthur gets an A on a quiz, big slices of boston cram pie, and 4 cans of soda (for the price of 1). Arthur and his friends are convinced that the pencil is lucky and borrow it a lot. As the pencil gets shorter, Arthur is more conservative with his pencil. Even with an upcoming history test, he won't let anyone use it, not even himself, untill he losses it. The next day Arthur gets an A on his history test. He decides he didn't need it. While empting their trash, Dw finds the pencil and Arthur yells at her to get it back.
Trivia/Goofs
- Pal ate the chocolate ice cream, if that happened in real life, pal could of died. Because dogs are alergic to chocolate
- If the pencil was really lucky, it wouldn't of broke.
- This was the second time Arthur screams at D.W. & for some help before this story ends. The first was D.W.'s Blankie.
