Arnie is an anteater doll owned by Muffy. It is an inside-joke parody of Arthur himself. Muffy accidentally got Arnie down a sewer grate in "What is that Thing?", but was able to use a bobbin to pull him out. Although boasting to know 5000 different words, all he ever said was "Pull my nose, lets sing the alphabet a b c d e f g, and he he he that tickles."
