Alfred Katzenellenbogan is the great-nephew of Jacob Katzenellenbogan.
He came to Lakewood Elementary School in "Get Smart" to show HUGO a document that proved that his great-uncle owned Elwood City's first saw mill, and not Francis Wheaton, as HUGO had thought. After HUGO explodes, Mr. Ratburn invites Alfred to stay and tell some stories.
Alfred looks similar to his great-uncle, but wears more modern clothing. He uses a cane to walk, and, similarly to what his great-uncle did, threatens to tear down HUGO with it.
