Alan is the grandfather of Alan "The brain" Powers. He is mentioned in the episode Brain Freeze where Brain mentions that his first name was Alan meaning he might be named after him. Nothing much is known about him like if he comes from Alan's mothers side or fathers side, however decpite the Brain saying that his name was Alan using past tense it is asumed that he could be deceased.
