The Caveman is a generic neanderthal man that lived in a cave. His only appearance was in the intro of "The Cave", where he starts a fire just before the sun sets, but the wind unfortunately blowed it out. His appearance is closer to that of a normal aardvark than modern day characters are, showing how "primitive" he is.
