The Boy Who Cried Comet is the first half of the 5th episode of Season 6. It originally aired on October 22, 2001 with Arthur and Los Vecinos.
Premise
Buster thinks he's seen a UFO, but no one believes him because he's said that he has seen a UFO too many times before. He borrows Muffy's telescope and finds a comet headed for earth. No one believes him, but this time he has proof.

Trivia
- The name of the episode is based off of the story of 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf', where a boy claims many times that he sees a wolf and when there actually is one, nobody comes to help him.
- The Preschoolers are seen at the playground at Lakewood. They were most likely being used as kindergartners.
Goofs
- Fern would not felt stepping on a screw that was attached the telescope since she was wearing shoes.
- You are see D.W. and the Tibble Twins briefly in the background when Buster climbs up the jungle gym.
