"What Scared Sue Ellen?" is the first half of the 12th episode of season 3 of the animated children's series Arthur. It originally aired on March 15th, 1999.
Plot
Sue Ellen is not scared by the "scary" stories that everyone is sharing at the tree house. She begins to become frightened by strange noises in the woods. She links the noises to spirits and myths that she learned about on her world travels. She becomes quite frightened and on alert, until she and her friends decide to investigate the noises origins. They discover that they each are nothing to be afraid of.
