Something else I would like to see in Arthur: the characters in alternate appearal.  This is just my opinion though.  Note, other cartoons will be talked about.

This is probably a pointless blog and may not make very much sense and I'm sorry if it doesn't but I would still like to write it.  This blog may be editted by me in the future or may be rewritten altogether.

I mean I know the characters dress in different clothing in many episodes.  Like, Arthur, who usually wears a yellow sweater, blue jeans, and a white button-down shirt, Buster wears a turquoise, or whatever, sweater with a pink collar, and blue jeans, Francine wears a Maroon shirt and Blue Jeans, etc.  Then in the summer time they and the other characters dress differently, like Arthur wearing a somewhat light blue shirt with white at the bottom and the tip of his sleeves  and dark blue shorts, Buster wearing a darker blue shirt than Arthur's brown shorts, Francine (from looking at the "Buster Spaces Out" screengrab" wearing a red and yellow shirt and dark red shorts.)

And it's true I've seen the characters wear different clothes in other episodes for other things, like when playing sports (such as Baseball, Soccer, Bowling, etc, or during formal occasions.

In fact, I do see the Arthur characters dress in different clothing than most other cartoon characters in other cartoons, most of whom almost always wear the same clothes in almost every episode and rarely dress differently.  One of my favorite appearals was in "Meet Binky, the characters wore white T shirts, and whatever color pants they were  wearing.  I'd like to see that again, even with Buster even though he rarely wears white and I understand why, because if he wears white, it'll make him look like he's naked, but I'd still like to see him where white clothes, namely a white T-shirt, again.  And in that episdoe where the characters go to Circus camp they wear different clothing.

I guess I shouldn't be complaining, and I'm not trying to, it's just, it would be nice to see the characters dress differently more, like they started doing in later seasons of Rugrats All Grown Up, and several episodes of the Weekenders but this is just how I feel.

Well getting to the weekenders, I think Tish Katsufrakis wore the same clothes in almost every episode, I'm guesing though, I don't watch the Weekenders as much as I did before, I could, I have some episodes on tape, but I've been too lazy lately. But the other three characters, Tino, my most favorite of all the characters, has dressed in several different clothes.  My most favorite of his appearal is when Tino wears that light blue shirt with the navy blue stripes and the light colored slacks (according to The Weekenders Wikia), but my least favorite of his appearal is the blue and white striped long-sleeve shirt with the blue athletic shorts.  Well the shorts aren't the problem to me, I just don't like the blue and white long sleeve shirt, espeiclaly with shorts.

I also like his short-sleeve red t shirt and blue jeans and his short sleeve navy blue shirt with blue shorts, although he'd look better in pants.

My other least favorite appearal is his light blue button down short sleeve shirt with the baige shorts, although I'd rather see this than the other one I don't like.  I'm not a real big fan of button-down shirts, which Arthur usually wears as does Miguel Santos (Maya and Miguel).  Well I do like button shirts but when open and worn over a non button shirt like Carver wears.  Others who dress like that are Kim Possible's Jim and Tim Possible, at least in Seasons 1-3.

Lor McQuarrie, three of her outfits I like are her gray shirt with darker colored sleeves and that red star and the dark shirt with the white M and white sleeve tips on it and the red shirt with the black sleeves.  U think my least favorite of her wear is the thick red jacket over her white shirt and the backwards cap, I mean it's not bad, it's just not my favorite.

Carver Rene Descartes, from what I remember, and some of the pictures I'm looking at, Carver seems to always wear an open button down shirt over a white under-shirt and gray pants (obviously more research needs to be done on my part) but at least there are different shirt colors.  Some occasions he wears a yellow over-shirt and I think I saw him where an open green button-down shirt, both of which I like.  And he doees seem to wear a red and orange button down shirt.  But I'll look more into Carver if I ever get around to it.

Tish Katsufrakis, I think I only see her in at least two differnet kinds of clothes, except when she dresses in the play "A Midsummer Night's Dream," which I actally saw when I was a High School Sophomore in Reading and English class.

And getting back to Kim Possible, sometimes I see Kim and Ron wear different clothing in different episodes.  In fact, we usually see Ron Stoppable in a short dark red shirt with baige strips over a long sleeve black shirt and brown or dark beige khackis.  But what I live better is his white shirt with long black sleeves and blue (or possibly green) jeans, which I think they introduced in season 2.  Kim, she's been seen wearing a short green top, which many people,  well at least many older people, frown upon, not just with her but with other girls.

Getting back to Arthur, I know we see the characters wear different clothing, and I know a lot of you are fine with the clothes they often wear (I say this because in the pasts I've had my own ideas about some things about cartoons but I've had others object and like things the way they were, which I can understand.)  It would just be nice to see the Arthur characters in more different outfits more regularly.  I mean this will probably never happen, but it was just a thought, and I told someone I'd write a blog about it and that's what I'm doing now.  I think I told Fernandox84 I was going to do this.

Well those are my thoughts, what do you guys think about the Arthur characters wearing different clothes than what they usually wear?  Are you fine with their clothes just the way they are? (like I needed to ask!)  Or would you, like me, like to see them dress differently as done on some cartoons, including the ones I listed?  (you may be firm and offer constructive criticism but please try to be kind.  If I see any rude comments or flames, I will not read or respond to them, I will ignore them and I will not speak to you unless you're sorry about them, and I will if I can remove them or ask they be removed.)
