Arthur's Treasure Hunt is the first half of the ninth episode of season 3. It originally aired on January 4th, 1999.
Summary
Buster finds an arrowhead, urging Arthur and and his friend to do the same in their backyards. Arthur imagines he will find great treasures and things unimaginable. When his hunt isn't going well he envisions his friends finding treasure in their yards.
He digs beyond the territories his mom allotted for him and he is punished. However, the things he does find turn out to be more spectacular than his friend's discoveries nonetheless they are not as great as he imagined.
