Neil Gaiman is a British real-world author. He appears in the episode "Falafelosophy", where he offers Sue Ellen advice about the graphic novel she is writing after meeting her at his book-signing. He wrote the real-world book Coraline, which was also adapted into a graphic novel and a movie.
