- Sue Ellen's comment at the end, "I wrote some pretty nice things about you, Arthur.", is a reference to Arthur's original crush on her in the books.
- During Francine's imagination of what Sue Ellen wrote in her diary. The date is day 162, once translated the date is June 11.
