South Africa (Afrikaans:Suid-Afrika, isiXhosa: uMzantsi Afrika, isiZulu: INingizimu Afrika) is a country in Africa. As the name implies, it is located on the southern tip of the African continent.

Cape Town is a city in (and the legislative capital of) South Africa, but Arthur thought Cape Town was the capital of Denmark when he took a geography quiz.

Trivia

• Whereas most countries only have one capital city, South Africa has the unique distinction of having three different capitals for each branch of government - Pretoria for the executive branch, Cape Town for the legislative branch, and Bloemfontein for the judicial branch. The largest city in South Africa, Johannesburg, has no status as a capital city.
