The Gref Zeppelin is a communter air ship. It is a historical air ship from Germany. It operated from September 18 1928 to June 18 1937. There was a second Gref Zeppelin that operated from 1938 to when it broke down in April 1940. The Gref Zeppelin appeared twice in the Arthur series. First in A Long Dull Winter, and a second time in Clarissa is Cracked. Both times it was observed by young Thora Read. The first time it appeared she was excited about seeing it, and the final she said nothing but the people around her was disappointment that the Zeppelin was flying over there town.
