What is that Thing? is the first half of the 9th episode of Season 4. It originally aired on November 1st, 1999 with Buster's Best Behavior.

Summary

Arthur and his friends separately find the same metal bobbin but don't know what it is. It happens to fit exactly what they need at the moment it appears. They argue over it and find out that it's Mr. Ratburn's bobbin and learns what it is at Mr. Ratburn's puppet show.

  • I don't think I've ever seen this episode. Wow.
  • Brain's lucky none of his friends were impaled with the model plane when it crash landed.
  • Arthur's skin must be pretty robust -- you try yanking a scared cat off of your head without doing damaging your scalp.
  • How does the bobbin roll away? It seems to be flat (except in D.W. Rides Again.)
  • Brain's remote control for his plane looks just like the one he used for his tooth extractor-- it's probably the same one he used in his robot cat, and his robot father that matter
  • This is basically the average Season 4 episode. It's alright.
