Throughout the series, characters had made references to the Holy Bible. Here is a list of known references:
- In Arthur, It's Only Rock and Roll, Mrs. McGrady says "Render unto Caeser, ya know! But you've rendered unto Caeser too much!" That phrase was a quote from Jesus Christ.
- In the episode Sue Ellen Chickens Out, Brain says after eating a chicken sandwich from the resturant Chickin Lickin', he says"Ah! The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak!" This is another quote from Jesus Christ.
