Patricia Rodriguez (sometimes credited as Patricia Rodrigues) was the original voice actress for Sue Ellen Armstrong and Francine's sister Catherine Frensky. She began voicing them in Season 1. For Season 8, Alexina Cowan took over for the voice of Catherine and Rodriguez continued voicing Sue Ellen for one more season until she left from voice-acting in the Arthur cartoon, until Jessica Kardos became assigned as the new voice actor for Sue Ellen, beginning with Season 9.
