"Double Dare" is the second half of the 1st episode of season 5 of the animated children's series Arthur. It originally aired on September 4th, 2000.
Plot
Arthur, Buster, Francine, and the Brain resent the large amount of homework they are assigned, which culminates in a large number of dares issued to skip school. However, the next morning, everyone agrees to call of the plot due to guilt (personified by a giant clam). Francine fails to receive the message and carries on with the dare.
When Binky pretends that his shoe is too tight, Francine, Arthur, and Buster attempt to skip a day of school, b ut were caught red-handed by Mr. Ratburn, and all four of them were sent to the principal's office.
