D.W. Thinks Big is the first half of the 25th episode of season 1 of the animated children's series Arthur. It originally aired on March 10th, 1997.
Summary
At Aunt Lucy's wedding, Arthur is the ringbearer and their dramatic diva cousin Cora is the flower girl, but D.W. is too little to do anything. However, when the wedding ring gets lost in the pipe organ at the wedding, D.W.'s size helps her.

Trivia
- Lucy didn't have lipstick on, although a wedding is an occasion women normally wear lipstick for.
- In this episode, Lucy's hair is blonde and her husband's hair is brown; although the later episode D.W. Unties the Knot swapped their hair colors for unknown reasons.
Differences from the book
- When Arthur loses the ring, it ends up in the organ. In the book, the ring fell into the floor vent.
- In the end of the book Arthur is seen shaking Aunt Lucy's husband's hand but in the end of episode Arthur is seen just waving good-bye to Aunt Lucy and her husband as they leave for their honeymoon.
- Arthur, D.W., and Kate's Aunt Jessica, Uncle Richard, Cousin Cora, and Grandpa Dave are exclusive to the cartoon. Grandpa Dave did not appear in the books until later.
- Lucy's hair is slightly straighter than in the books.
- Arthur's tuxedo is teal-colored. In the book, it was gray.
Goofs
- Before the Photographer takes the picture, he is white. When D.W. leaves, he is brown.
- Arthur was sitting in the front seat of his father's catering van, but he's eight years old and the front seat is not safe for children under the age of thirteen, and his mother should have sat there instead.
- During the interior view of the catering van, the two seats in the front appear to be close together when they should be spaced apart.
- While the Reads were on the way to the wedding, Kate was riding along in the van; but while they were at the wedding and waving goodbye to Lucy and her husband, Kate was missing.
- When Arthur's Mom handed the ring to Arthur, her skin was darker
