The game plays very similar to that of Persona series. At the start of the game you can pick between a male or female protagonist that you must name. The game is cut into days from 1-150 and each day is broken up into morning, afternoon, evening and nighttime. During the day the protagonist will go to school and do different events to advance the story. There are two main areas to explore, Elwood City and The Game World. In Elwood City you can can talk to people, do side quests and buy healing and support items in shops. In The Game World you can buy weapons, armor and battle enemies to level up. At certain events the Protagonist will be asked what there opinion is on a situation. By making a good decision or making the other person feel good by being nice to them your friends meter will begin to fill up. Once its full you will gain a friend level that can give you special benifits in battle. At night the player can enter The Game World that is broken up into different areas called Levels.

By consistently doing this you can unleash a characters Special Hit move to a lot of damage.
